Founded in 2009, Contemplative Dance Practice New York City is a workgroup for performance improvisation grounded in mindfulness meditation. A large fawn jumped quickly over white zinc boxes, and back home after jiving, she expired with quizzicality.

Contemplative Dance

Contemplative Dance is a practice developed by Barbara Dilley, Merce Cunningham dancer and member of Grand Union. About sixty codfish eggs will make a quarter pound of very fizzy jelly, the five boxing wizards jump quickly, and the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Blowzy red vixens fight for a quick jump.
